Together with my colleagues, I am responsible for the network and the security of the IT environment at Jan De Nul. In order to provide the best protection for the network of our offices and vessels, we carry out regular updates and configurations. In close cooperation with external partners, we constantly monitor the status of our systems. When the alarm bells go off for a possible cyber attack, we try to trace the source.

At Jan De Nul, I can work with the most impressive systems. During my traineeship, a large project led me to specialise in security. During the first months, I sat open-mouthed listening to the knowledge of my colleagues.
