Tax Manager

The department guarantees financial expertise to the entire group: from accounting, data controlling to bank guarantees. As Tax Manager your main responsibilities are the following:
- Manage the tax obligations with respect to projects in a specific region.
- Estimate the tax impact of projects in tender phase and give advice on tax clauses in tender documents.
- Support the preparation of tax provisions for the region to ensure that the financial statements accurately reflect the tax liability.
- Review the tax compliance of the entities of the JDN Group.
- Coordinate tax audits or litigations in the various jurisdictions together with the finance department and tax advisors.
- Identify, develop and implement process improvements.
- Provide tax assistance to the business (procurement, area controller’s, etc) and help identifying opportunities.
- Monitor the implementation of transfer pricing policies and review the respective documentation required in each jurisdiction.
- Dealing with indirect taxes, personal income taxes, transfer pricing and foreign operational tax aspects will also be part of the role.
You work from our offices in Capellen (Luxembourg) but also have possibility to work from our site in Belgium, Aalst (in between Brussels-Ghent)
Profile
You possess a Master degree in Law, Management or Economics preferably with specialization in Tax. You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the tax department of a multinational group and/or Big Four. Experience in indirect taxation and transfer pricing is considered a plus.
Besides a strong knowledge of English, a good understand of the French language is considered an asset. You are prepared to travel on regular basis for short trips.
