"This process is different for each project. The conditions of the project always determine its complexity. The offshore market has developed very quickly and is currently booming: In other places in the world, differing climatic challenges, and or the requirements to install heavier and larger turbines dictate that not one approach does not fit all solutions we need to curtail bespoke solutions to meet these challenging site-specific demands. This may include a new calculation method or maybe to adopt a new standard. All this, combined with strict deadlines and interactions with the manufacturing and installation facets of the industry makes my job challenging, but interesting. It is extremely rewarding to get positive feedback at the end of the process from every link in this cycle!"
