Staff Trainer Technical Department

All trainings within Jan De Nul Group are clustered in the Jan De Nul Academy. This umbrella organisation offers courses to various departments. The trainings are based on the career of the employee: after a starters training, everyone receives a training programme mapped out by function.

As a Trainer Technical Department you are responsible for the development and teaching of internal technical trainings from the Technical Department Dredging and Offshore for staff. Together with your team you aim to increase the product and technology knowledge of the internal employees.

Your tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Elaborate course subjects, training material and e-learning modules in the context of the Jan De Nul Academy.
  • Provide classroom trainings (eg. engine room simulator, pump room).
  • Maintain and share knowledge by means of site visits.
  • Determine the number of training sessions and request trainings at external training centres.

Evaluate the training needs and efforts.
