Subsidiary company Envisan is Jan De Nul Group's testing ground for innovative processing techniques and environmental technological solutions, even more: a springboard to a circular world. We are looking for a project engineer who will be responsible for the technical preparation and operational execution of soil remediation projects with the aim of realizing Envisan projects efficiently.
Some of your duties include:
Envisan remediates and redevelops contaminated sites. By combining civil construction, hydrogeology and environmental technology, we can tackle soil and groundwater remediation in an integrated way. Thus, we are not only responsible for the remediation, but also for the subsequent development of the site. Envisan removes and treats contaminated sediments from ports, canals and waterways. By developing specific hydraulic and mechanical devices and techniques, we do this in an environmentally friendly way. Both the remediation of contaminated sites, the processing of excavated soil, solving environmental problems in ports, canals and waterways and the sustainable development of brownfields create win-win situations for both the environment and the customer.
You are passionate about the environment, soil remediation, earthmoving and would like to continue building a sustainable future. You have a Master's degree in construction or an environmental engineering background (bio-engineer, environmental technology,...). You have technical insight and are organizationally strong. You are communicative and take initiative. A first experience is nice but certainly not a must. Your working area is mainly the Antwerp region, more specifically the Oosterweel project.
