Jan De Nul rocks Benin

There should always be time for a dash of music, even in Benin. That is why Jan De Nul Group brought no less than 52 musical instruments to the locals with his stone installation vessel Pompei. This was done in collaboration with Rock Bujumbura, an organization that gives young people in Benin, Burundi and Togo the opportunity to spend their free time playing music.

The local project team in Benin is currently working to protect the coast, which is being eaten away by erosion. In doing so, they not only limit the effects of climate change for the local population, but also give a boost to the economy. Our transport service and our technical department have joined forces to pack, transport and deliver the instruments safely. Upon arrival, the locals did not hesitate to unpack the guitars, keyboards and amplifiers. Everyone was immediately treated to a beautiful concert.
